Phofi has been studying Iyengar Yoga since 1989 and teaching at Kelowna Yoga House since 2001. She obtained her Introductory II certificate in 2007. Geetaji's visit to Vancouver, BC in 2001 was and is the inspiration for Phofi's decision to teach yoga. Phofi attended Geetaji' 60th birthday in Pune, India and she will attend classes at the RIMYI institute in Pune, India in August 2007.
