Melissa began studying Iyengar Yoga in 1990 and teaching in 1995. She obtained her certification in 2005 after completing a 3-year teacher training program through the Iyengar Yoga Centre in Victoria. Melissa teaches at the Kelowna Yoga House, and is also a Speech Language Pathologist working in the schools and in private practice. Melissa likes to instill in her students the use of yoga as a tool to understand oneself.
