Gerie Primerano began studying Iyengar yoga in 1987. She deepened her commitment and practice of yoga by completing a teacher-training apprenticeship program with Wende L. Davis in 2002. The same year, she travelled to India to study with Geeta and Prashant Iyengar at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune, India. She regularly attends workshops, studying with local and international senior teachers. Gerie teaches with clarity, creativity and passion. She is active on the board of the local B.K.S. Iyengar Yoga Association.
